Jeju hosts various cultural and tourism events

Jeju Island is hosting several cultural and tourism initiatives. The Jeju Comedy Club will present ‘Eum-seum Geol-gung: A Match Between Land People and Sea People’ on the 14th and 21st at the Yeongnak-ri Complex Cultural Center. This improvisational comedy performance features local Haenyeo (female divers), including an 88-year-old diver and a diver from the United States, sharing stories of their lives and community through spontaneous interaction with the audience.

Additionally, the Jeju Tourism Organization is launching the ‘2026 Autumn Season Jeju Travel Festa’ from the 16th to the 24th. Designed to coincide with the National Sports Festival, the program includes mobile welcome stations, mind recovery activities such as meditation and yoga, and a live healing concert at Wolryeong Port on the 24th.

In the arts sector, the Jeju Biennale will be accompanied by a concert titled ‘Variations of Autumn’ on the 17th and 18th at the Jeju Museum of Art outdoor stage, featuring various musical performers.
