Pop star Jelena Karleuša has shared details regarding a recent shift in her spiritual life and a meeting with a bishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Karleuša, who described herself as an atheist for most of her life, stated that she sought out the religious leader after feeling an increasing urge to seek revenge against those who had wronged her.

After watching the bishop speak on television about the importance of forgiveness, Karleuša contacted him to seek guidance. During their meeting and subsequent lunch, the bishop offered words of strength and wisdom to help her navigate her personal struggles. Karleuša noted that despite her self-identification as a non-believer, the bishop expressed high regard for her character and energy.
