Jelena Karleuša reports receiving death threats

Serbian singer Jelena Karleuša has stated that she received numerous death threats during the election night in Serbia on October 25. During a recording of the show “Pinkove zvezde,” she described how the threats led her to lower metal shutters on her villa to protect herself and her minor daughter, Nika, which reportedly frightened the child.

Karleuša claimed that her phone number and home address have been made public, creating a situation where she feels unsafe. She expressed frustration that instead of focusing on her music career, she is forced to address threats and prohibitions. She noted that neither public institutions nor the general public have reacted to these threats. While she does not own weapons, she stated she has security, cameras, and brave friends who will defend her.
