Polish tennis players prepare for US Open 2026 qualifications

Four Polish tennis players are set to compete in the US Open 2026 qualifying rounds in New York. The representatives include Katarzyna Kawa, Martyna Kubka, Linda Klimovicova, and Maks Kaśnikowski.

Katarzyna Kawa enters as the 20th seed and will face Ekaterine Gorgodze in her opening match. Martyna Kubka, making her Grand Slam qualifying debut, will play against Annika Penechova. Linda Klimovicova is scheduled to face Lisa Pigato, while Maks Kaśnikowski will compete against Nicolai Budkov Kjaer in the men's qualifying draw.

These players aim to join high-ranking Polish teammates Iga Świątek, Magda Linette, Magdalena Fręch, and Maja Chwalińska, who have already secured direct entry into the main draw based on their world rankings.
