Jella Haase condemns patriarchal beauty double standards

German actress Jella Haase criticised the double standards that reward men for visible wrinkles while stigmatising women for the same aging signs. She described this disparity as a "structural, patriarchal problem" that she wants to change.

Haase, a Lavera brand ambassador, said she supports a "longevity" approach to skin care – embracing natural ageing rather than trying to reverse time. She emphasised that stress, lack of sleep and overall well‑being affect the skin more than cosmetic interventions. While she does not oppose beauty procedures, she called for greater transparency so young women can make informed choices.

In interviews with German magazines, Hause also stressed the importance of self‑acceptance, recalling that true strength comes from inner confidence rather than external perfection.
