Jelly aesthetic trends in fashion and upcoming art exhibitions

The jelly aesthetic, characterized by translucent and colorful plastic materials, is emerging as a major trend for the summer 2027 season. While the Brazilian brand Melissa has long utilized this material, the look is now being integrated into high-fashion collections. Designers such as Giorgio Armani, The Row, and Saint Laurent have incorporated translucent elements into their accessories and footwear, moving the aesthetic from a nostalgic or functional item into the realm of luxury and sophisticated design.

In the art world, the Musée du Luxembourg in Paris will host an exhibition titled ‘Andy Warhol. La ligne et l’image’ from September 2026 to January 2027. The showcase features approximately 150 drawings, paintings, and archival documents, highlighting Warhol’s origins as an illustrator. Additionally, the Château de Chambord will present ‘Les Festins de Chambord,’ a major exhibition running from late September 2026 through January 2027.
