Jember elementary student allegedly bullied in viral video

A video depicting the alleged bullying of an elementary school student in Selodakon, Jember, East Java, has gone viral on social media. The footage shows the victim, reportedly a student from SD Negeri Selodakon 04, being subjected to physical aggression, including having her hijab pulled, being hair-pulled, punched, and kicked by older female students during a Scout extracurricular activity.

The suspected perpetrators are believed to be students from SD Negeri Selodakon 01 and 02. Following the circulation of the video, the school and the Jember Education Office have initiated mediation involving parents and representatives from the TNI and Polri to resolve the incident.
