Jemima Adams Verling to make Ireland women’s rugby debut

Jemima Adams Verling is set to make her senior international debut for the Ireland women’s rugby team against the USA in the WXV Series. The 20-year-old Connacht flanker will start at blindside flanker at Tallaght Stadium.

Adams Verling joins captain Erin King and Aoife Wafer in the back row. Her selection follows a strong performance in the Celtic Challenge, where she was the leading Irish tackler with 134 successful tackles. Head coach Scott Bemand noted the importance of blooding new talent to build a tournament-ready squad, pairing the newcomer with established players to maintain competitive balance.
