Jena Police report unlicensed driving and vandalism incidents

Police in the Jena region of Germany reported two separate incidents involving local disturbances.

In Schkölen, a 52-year-old woman was reported by witnesses for operating a vehicle at least twice in one day despite having her driver's license previously revoked by a court. The vehicle, a distinctive small car, was also noted to have been missing its rear license plate for a week. Authorities implemented measures to prevent further unauthorized driving, though the woman was not immediately located.

In Launewitz, police intervened after several youths engaged in disruptive behavior early Saturday morning. The group reportedly stole a chair and threw it onto a neighboring property before one individual spray-painted graffiti on several public facilities. After being apprehended by police, the group later removed the graffiti and apologized to local residents.
