Jenelle Evans announces homeschooling for two children
Jenelle Evans, a former 'Teen Mom' star, has announced that she is homeschooling her two youngest children, Kaiser Griffith, 12, and Ensley Eason, 9. Evans shared the decision via Instagram, noting that the children are enrolled in Acellus Academy, an accredited online school.
Evans cited several reasons for the change in educational arrangement. She stated that her son, Kaiser, had experienced repeated bullying at school, specifically regarding his weight, in multiple locations including Las Vegas and North Carolina. Additionally, Evans mentioned that her CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) diagnosis makes the daily two-to-three-hour round-trip commute to their school physically difficult due to pain.
Evans clarified that she is not acting as a traditional teacher but is instead utilizing computer-based structured programs. She reported that the first week of homeschooling has proceeded well, with the children completing their work in approximately two hours.
