Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy's son hospitalized

Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy, known for their work on ‘Dancing With the Stars’, shared that their three-year-old son, Rome, was hospitalized this past weekend due to an unspecified medical issue.

Through Instagram updates, Johnson reported that Rome was initially feeling unwell before later sharing an image of him in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask. Chmerkovskiy also posted a photo of Johnson comforting their son in the clinic. The parents have not yet disclosed the specific nature of the illness or Rome’s current condition.

This is not the first health scare for the family; in October 2025, the couple also required an emergency room visit for Rome, during which he also utilized an oxygen mask. At that time, Johnson confirmed the child had returned home safely.
