Jenna Ortega promotes Klara and the Sun at film festivals

Actress Jenna Ortega is participating in promotional events for her new science-fiction film, Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi. The film, an adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel, features Ortega as Klara, an artificial friend and solar-powered robot.

During the promotional tour, Ortega has made several high-profile fashion appearances. In New York, she wore a custom sculptural gown by designer Elias Matso, constructed from steel rods, multicolored beads, and approximately 6,500 crystals to reflect the film's futuristic themes. At the 21st Rome Film Festival, she showcased various looks, including a floral Roberto Cavalli gown and a vintage Pierre Cardin ensemble.

In interviews, Ortega has discussed the film's core themes, emphasizing that while the story involves artificial intelligence, it is ultimately a human story about love and connection. She noted that technology cannot replace genuine human emotions.
