Jenna Ortega wears steel rod dress in New York
Actress Jenna Ortega drew significant attention in New York City while attending a special screening of her new film, ‘Klara and the Sun’, in the Soho neighborhood. The actress wore a unique gown designed by Elias Matso that is constructed almost entirely from thin steel rods and metal wires shaped over a skin-colored base.
The dress features a structured corset made of dozens of flexible metal lines and a skirt with a ‘liquid metal’ effect created by long metal tassels that reflect light as she moves. The futuristic, robotic aesthetic of the garment was intentionally chosen to align with the themes of her film, in which she portrays a character connected to artificial intelligence.
