Jennersdorf breaks ground on new multi-purpose sports hall

The municipality of Jennersdorf has officially broken ground on a new multi-purpose sports hall. The project, which has been under consideration for approximately eight years, is expected to cost around 11 million euros.

State Governor Hans Peter Doskozil noted that the state will cover a large portion of the financing. The facility is designed to accommodate more than 500 seated spectators and 300 standing spectators, serving as a venue for sports, social events, and school functions such as graduation balls. Local judo and volleyball clubs are expected to use the hall as their home base. Completion is scheduled for early 2028.
