Jenni Hermoso to leave Tigres Femenil, likely joins Atlético de Madrid

Spanish World Cup champion Jenni Hermoso, 36, is set to terminate her contract with Mexican club Tigres Femenil ahead of its December 2026 expiry. The agreement, reached with club officials, makes her a free agent able to negotiate a new team without a transfer fee.

Hermoso has not appeared in training or recent matches, missing the Campeón de Campeonas final and the opening game of the Apertura 2026, in which Tigres recorded an 8‑0 win over Puebla. Reports indicate Atlético de Madrid, the club where she began her professional career, is her most probable destination, though no official announcement has been made.
