Jennie sets new K-pop Billboard Hot 100 top 10 record

Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, has set a new record for the longest stay in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 by a K-pop artist. Her collaboration with the Australian synth-pop band Tame Impala, titled ‘Dracula’, has spent a cumulative 16 weeks in the top 10 as of the September 19 chart.

This achievement surpasses the previous record of 15 weeks held by BTS with their song ‘Butter’. ‘Dracula’ reached a peak position of number 5 and has maintained strong popularity due to significant airplay on American pop and adult pop radio stations.

The track is a remix of a song from Tame Impala’s fifth studio album, ‘Deadbeat’. Alongside this milestone, Jennie continues her solo activities, having recently released the digital EP ‘Fallen Angel’ and performing at major international music festivals.
