Jennie's agency announces legal action against malicious content

OA Entertainment, the agency representing BLACKPINK member Jennie, has announced it will take civil and criminal legal action against individuals spreading malicious content. The decision follows the rapid online circulation of videos and images that appear to show parts of the artist's body exposed during her headlining performance at the Summer Sonic 2026 festival in Chiba, Japan.

The agency stated it is working with legal counsel to monitor and collect evidence against those spreading false information, defamatory comments, or content that maliciously edits and manipulates the artist's appearance and privacy. The agency emphasized that there will be “no settlement and no leniency” regardless of the circumstances.

While some footage circulated online, it has not been confirmed whether the clips are authentic or if they were manipulated using artificial intelligence or deepfake technology. The agency has requested that fans assist in the legal process by reporting similar malicious content.
