Jennifer Garner stars in ‘The Five-Star Weekend’ series

Jennifer Garner stars in the new Prime Video and Peacock series ‘The Five-Star Weekend’, adapted from the 2023 bestselling novel by Elin Hilderbrand. Set in Nantucket, the drama follows Hollis Shaw, a famous culinary content creator played by Garner, who is attempting to navigate life following the sudden death of her husband.

To cope with her grief, Hollis organizes a getaway for three women who have played significant roles in her life. However, the reunion becomes complicated as long-held secrets surface, including a revelation regarding her late husband’s relationship with one of the guests.

In connection to her role as a food blogger, Garner has also shared her personal affinity for cooking, noting that she frequently uses recipes from Ina Garten. She specifically highlighted Garten’s chicken pot pie with puff pastry as a favorite dish she prepares for her family.
