Jennifer Garner stars in ‘The Five Star Weekend’ series

SkyShowtime has announced the premiere date for the new drama series ‘The Five Star Weekend’, set to debut on October 16. The eight-episode production is an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Elin Hilderbrand.

Set on Nantucket, the story follows Hollis Shaw (played by Jennifer Garner), a prominent culinary influencer and bestselling cookbook author. Following a significant personal loss, Shaw’s seemingly perfect life begins to unravel, revealing marital tensions and a complicated relationship with her daughter. To cope with her grief and rediscover herself, she organizes a weekend gathering at her home, inviting three friends from different stages of her life—childhood, her twenties, and her thirties—along with one unexpected guest.

The cast includes D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane, and Timothy Olyphant. Executive producers include Jennifer Garner, Elin Hilderbrand, Bekah Brunstetter, Sue Naegle, Ali Krug, Minkie Spiro, Merri Howard, and Beth Schacter.
