Jennifer Hudson Joins Paw Patrol Dino Movie as Reporter Lilian Ledes

Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson is adding voice work to the animated franchise "Paw Patrol" by portraying Lilian Ledes, a reporter on the upcoming film "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie." Hudson said it was "beyond a dream" to be part of the series, noting the show’s popularity in her household as a mother of two. The movie is set on an uncharted tropical island inhabited by dinosaurs, where the Paw Patrol team must rescue the island after villain Mayor Humdinger triggers a volcanic eruption.

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on August 14, 2026. Hudson’s involvement follows a growing presence of Black talent in the franchise, joining performers such as Taraji P. Henson, Marsai Martin and Yara Shahidi.
