Jennifer Lautensack Appointed Head of Mannheim Police Operations Staff

Leading Police Director Jennifer Lautensack, 45, has taken over as head of the Führungs- und Einsatzstab (leadership and operations staff) at the Polizeipräsidium Mannheim and will also serve as deputy head of the precinct. She succeeds Renato Gigliotti, who moved to the Polizeipräsidium Ravensburg. Lautensack previously led the Schutzpolizeidirektion at the Polizeipräsidium Pforzheim. The appointment was formalised by State Police President Dr. Stefanie Hinz, who handed her the commission and assignment letter. Police President Ulrike Schäfer praised the selection, noting Lautensack’s experience, determination and empathy for the role at the largest police headquarters in Baden‑Württemberg.
