Jennifer Lawrence recalls awkward interaction with Bradley Cooper

During a recent appearance on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast with Alex Cooper, actress Jennifer Lawrence shared an embarrassing anecdote regarding her experience filming the 2011 film ‘Silver Linings Playbook’.

Lawrence admitted to feeling significant nerves while working with co-star Bradley Cooper, whom she described as the biggest celebrity she had met at the time. Following a major kissing scene, Lawrence attempted to use bravado by asking Cooper, “Aren’t you so much sick of kissing?” She noted that the joke fell flat and that Cooper did not initially like the comment, though he eventually laughed.

Additionally, Lawrence discussed her performance in the film, revealing that her actual dancing abilities were so poor that the production required Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR). This was used to add lines where her character explains that she is not a good dancer to provide narrative justification for her movements. Lawrence also expressed that she did not anticipate the massive success the film would eventually achieve.
