Jennifer Lawrence to star in new romantic comedy One Month Mark

Jennifer Lawrence and director Gene Stupnitsky are set to reunite for a new romantic comedy titled ‘One Month Mark’. The project, produced by Apple Original Films, marks a follow-up to their 2023 collaboration, ‘No Hard Feelings’.

Stupnitsky is in negotiations to direct the film, while Lawrence is attached to star and produce through her company, Excellent Cadaver. The screenplay, written by Sophie Fleur de Bruijn, follows a woman whose romantic relationships never last longer than a month, and a man who has never spent a month without being in a relationship.

The script reportedly drew significant interest from multiple producers before Chernin Entertainment secured the rights, eventually leading to Apple’s involvement. While the male lead has not yet been announced, the film aims to leverage the comedic chemistry established in Lawrence’s previous work.
