Jennifer Lopez discusses emotional transition to empty nesting

Jennifer Lopez has shared her emotional experience of becoming an empty nester as her twins, Max and Emme Muñiz, have left for college. In a makeup-free video for her brand, JLo Beauty, and via Instagram Stories, the singer admitted to crying and looking at baby pictures while adjusting to the transition.

The twins are attending different institutions on opposite coasts. Emme is studying theater and studio arts at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. While Max’s specific college has not been publicly disclosed, Lopez noted that both children were accepted into all five colleges to which they applied.

Lopez emphasized the importance of maintaining daily routines, such as working out and skincare, to stay grounded during this period of change. She encouraged her followers to view this transition as a new era for themselves, suggesting it may be a time to revive old dreams.
