Veracruz security forces rescue kidnapping victim and seize narcotics

Security forces in Veracruz have conducted a series of coordinated operations resulting in significant seizures and the rescue of a kidnapping victim. In Jamapa, a joint effort involving the State Public Security Secretariat, the Navy, the National Defense Secretariat, and the National Guard led to the rescue of a person held illegally. The victim was located alive following an anonymous 911 report regarding a safe house.

In separate weekend operations across the state, including the municipalities of Pánuco and Tamiahua, authorities arrested four individuals suspected of belonging to criminal groups. These operations resulted in the seizure of approximately 52,000 liters of hydrocarbons, various narcotics including crystal meth and marijuana, and several firearms. Additionally, nine people were detained for suspected health crimes, and multiple vehicles with theft reports were recovered.
