The unexpected visual led to laughter from colleagues in the studio. Riewa joked about the situation, telling his colleagues, “Stop laughing!” and assuring viewers, “I will not be singing with this microphone!” Moderator Sven Lorig even remarked that the appearance had the air of a “Schlagersänger” (pop singer).
