Jensen Ackles stars in ‘Rules of Prey’ crime series

Actor Jensen Ackles has begun filming the MGM+ crime drama ‘Rules of Prey’ in Toronto. The eight-episode series is an adaptation of the bestselling ‘Prey’ novels by John Sandford.

Ackles stars as Lucas Davenport, a brilliant and unconventional former Minneapolis police detective who is pulled out of seclusion to investigate a series of murders specifically designed to target him. The plot follows a psychological battle between Davenport and an intelligent serial killer.

Bruce Terris serves as the creator, showrunner, and executive producer. The production is being handled by MGM Television and Take 5 Productions in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. This project follows Ackles’ other upcoming roles, including his return as Soldier Boy in the ‘The Boys’ prequel ‘Vought Rising’ and his appearance in the fourth season of ‘Tracker’.
