Jensen Ackles to return to ‘Tracker’ Season 4

Justin Hartley, star and executive producer of the CBS series ‘Tracker’, has provided details regarding Jensen Ackles’s return as Russell Shaw in Season 4. Ackles is expected to appear in at least one episode early in the season, with the possibility of returning for additional episodes in the new year.

Following the Season 3 finale, the plot will temporarily move away from the mystery surrounding a file Russell was reading. Instead, the narrative will focus on Russell reaching out to his brother, Colter Shaw, for assistance. Russell’s contact will be prompted by a friend who is in ‘dire straits’, leading to a reunion between the brothers and an ‘epic journey’ together.

Regarding their relationship, Hartley noted that while the brothers have mended fences, a sense of lingering suspicion remains, as Colter assumes Russell is often keeping secrets from him.
