Jeonnam-Gwangju and Jeju to see rain and high temperature swings

Rain is expected in the Jeonnam-Gwangju region and Jeju Island throughout the weekend, with precipitation amounts estimated between 5 to 10 mm. The weather will be characterized by cloudy skies and intermittent rainfall.

Significant temperature fluctuations are forecast across inland areas, with daily temperature differences reaching approximately 15 degrees Celsius. Morning lows are expected to range from 8 to 20 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius.

Authorities have issued warnings regarding thick fog in inland areas, which may reduce visibility to less than 1 km. Drivers are advised to exercise caution on slippery roads and in foggy conditions. Additionally, strong winds and high waves of up to 3 meters are expected in the waters south of Jeju Island and the eastern South Sea, posing risks to maritime activities.
