The city's personnel committee approved the promotion of 34 officials at the 4th grade level or higher, consisting of 3 officials at the 2nd grade, 7 at the 3rd grade, and 24 at the 4th grade.

The promotion list includes 18 individuals from the former Jeonnam province and 16 from the former Gwangju city. The city plans to conduct follow-up personnel movements and organizational restructuring on October 7, aiming to stabilize the new administrative system and ensure continuity in regional governance.
