Jeopardy! Masters begins fourth season with high-difficulty tournament

The fourth season of ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ premiered on August 25, featuring a high-difficulty tournament format designed to test the limits of top-tier trivia champions. Host Ken Jennings noted that the spinoff includes exceptionally challenging clues to gauge the true capabilities of the contestants.

In the opening quarterfinal games, Paolo Pasco and Victoria Groce each secured three match points. Other competitors include Long Nguyen, Andrew He, Yogesh Raut, and Juveria Zaheer. The tournament features diverse categories such as medicine, science, and music, with musical clues read by Yo-Yo Ma.

The competition follows a condensed schedule running through early September. The top four contestants will advance to the semifinals, while the top three will compete in the finals. The ultimate winner will receive $500,000, a trophy, and $100,000 for a charity of their choice, while the sixth-place finisher will receive $50,000.
