Jeopardy! Masters Season 4 to premiere August 25

The fourth season of the Jeopardy! Masters tournament is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, August 25. The competition will feature six high-ranking players competing for the Trebek Trophy and a $500,000 prize.

Host Ken Jennings noted that the difficulty level of the questions will be higher than usual due to the advanced skill of the competitors. The season will consist of nine hour-long episodes, with the quarterfinals airing in the first week, semifinals in the second, and the final episode scheduled for September 8.

Returning competitors include reigning champion Yogesh Raut, along with finalists Juveria Zaheer and Victoria Groce. Other participants include Tournament of Champions winner Paolo Pasco, Invitational Tournament winner Andrew He, and runner-up Long Nguyen. Victoria Groce indicated that she has been focusing her preparation on pop culture, specifically movies and television.
