Jepara Regency distributes scholarships to 830 students

The Jepara Regency Government has distributed scholarships to 830 students through the Kartu Sarjana Jepara (KSJ) program. The initiative aims to expand access to higher education for local residents.

Recipients were selected through three distinct tracks: 547 students via the achievement track, 235 through the underprivileged track, and 48 via the tahfidz (Quranic memorization) track. Each student receives Rp1.5 million per semester to assist with tuition and educational costs.

The program is supported by a total budget of Rp2.49 billion, comprising Rp1.641 billion from the Regional Budget (APBD) and Rp849 million from the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS). Recipients are enrolled in various public and private higher education institutions across multiple disciplines.
