Jequié nutritionist Samuel Borges Gonçalves remains missing

The family of Samuel Borges Gonçalves, a 31-year-old nutritionist and clinician from Jequié, Bahia, is seeking information regarding his disappearance. He has been missing since December 25, 2025, after leaving a relative's home in the Jequiezinho neighborhood.

Before his disappearance, Gonçalves reportedly stated he was traveling to Rio de Janeiro and left two dogs at a shelter. Eight months have passed without any contact via phone, social media, or other digital means. The case is currently under official investigation by the 1st DT/9th Coorpin Jequié.
