Jeremiah Chiu announces debut solo album Edge Conditions

Synthesist and SML member Jeremiah Chiu has announced his debut solo LP, titled ‘Edge Conditions’. The album is scheduled for release via International Anthem on October 9 through physical formats and digital download, with a digital streaming release following on October 27.

The lead single, ‘Plastic Mind / Elastic Machines’, features field recordings from Takako Minekawa and percussion from Chiu’s SML bandmate Booker Stardrum. The track is accompanied by an animated video created by Korey Martin, who also provided the album’s artwork.

Collaborators on the project include Marta Sofia Honer, Ben Lumsdaine, Patrick Shiroishi, Marquis Hill, and Will Miller. Chiu has also announced upcoming U.S. tour dates, including performances in Chicago, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles.
