NFL Week 6: Jeremiyah Love ruled out for Cardinals vs. Rams

The Arizona Cardinals will be without rookie running back Jeremiyah Love for their Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Love, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has been ruled out due to a lingering left ankle injury that has hampered his ability to cut and accelerate.

Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur stated that the decision was made to prioritize the player's health, noting that the injury has persisted since Week 4. While the team is not currently considering placing Love on injured reserve, he has missed practice throughout the week. Tyler Allgeier is expected to take over the primary running back duties for Arizona.

In Los Angeles, the Rams face their own roster challenges. Cornerback Trent McDuffie is listed as questionable with a groin injury, and safety Kam Curl is also questionable due to an ankle issue. Additionally, Myles Garrett is expected to miss his fifth consecutive game following knee surgery.

Other NFL matchups include the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium. The undefeated Chiefs (4-0) are favored to win against the struggling Chargers (0-5).
