Jeremy Clarkson announces remission from aggressive prostate cancer

Jeremy Clarkson, the former *Top Gear* presenter and star of *Clarkson's Farm*, confirmed he is in remission after being diagnosed with an aggressive prostate tumour in May 2025. Tests conducted two months later showed no trace of disease, leading him to tell the *Sunday Times*: “I am definitely the luckiest man in the world.”

His treatment involved a partial prostate removal followed by ultrasound therapy, during which he endured a painful catheter episode and mistakenly took heart anticoagulants, describing the experience as “horrendous and entirely my fault”. Clarkson now undergoes regular blood checks and urges men to be screened early, noting that about 12 000 men die each year in the United Kingdom from prostate cancer. He hopes his story will encourage others to seek early detection, saying that even one viewer getting checked could save a life.
