Jeremy Clarkson in remission from aggressive prostate cancer, urges men to get screened
Television presenter Jeremy Clarkson disclosed that he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025. After undergoing surgery and treatment, a follow‑up PSA test in June 2026 showed no signs of disease, and he confirmed he is officially in remission, calling himself “the world’s luckiest man.”
Clarkson said he has been meeting with former prime minister David Cameron, food writer Giles Coren and other public figures who share the diagnosis, forming a support group that meets for lunch and compares test scores. He warned, “Please, please, please go and get checked,” urging men to have routine PSA testing despite any embarrassment.
He also recounted complications that arose when he resumed blood‑thinner medication after his cancer operation, describing the emergency as “horrific.” Despite the health scare, Clarkson announced that season 6 of his series Clarkson’s Farm is now in production and expects to return to filming.
Across interviews he emphasized early detection, regular blood tests, and the importance of not delaying medical advice.
