Jeremy Clarkson uses borehole to maintain pub lawns during hosepipe ban

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he is using a borehole to maintain the green lawns at his Cotswolds pub, The Farmer's Dog, despite an ongoing hosepipe ban in Oxfordshire. The ban, implemented by Thames Water due to prolonged dry weather, has left many surrounding fields and patches of grass parched and brown.

In a column for The Sun, Clarkson speculated that singer Rod Stewart may also be using a similar method to keep the gardens at his Essex mansion lush. Clarkson described the process of using a borehole as digging a hole approximately 100 metres deep to install a pump that accesses groundwater, which is not subject to government water restrictions.
