Jeremy Clarkson warns fire risk threatens harvest at Diddly Squat Farm

Jeremy Clarkson, former Top Gear presenter and star of the Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm, said he is "genuinely scared" because this year’s grain at his Oxfordshire Diddly Squat Farm is unusually dry. He warned that a discarded cigarette or a spark from faulty equipment could ignite the crop and destroy an entire year’s work, a risk he described in a column for The Sun.

The concern follows earlier personal health news, including Clarkson’s recent remission from an aggressive form of prostate cancer. Around the same time, environmentalist Chris Packham reignited his feud with Clarkson by posting UK farming statistics on Instagram, prompting a backlash from fans and a sharp exchange between the two broadcasters. Packham’s post was criticized as divisive, while Clarkson retorted by labeling Packham’s criticism as "b******s".
