Jeremy Clarkson Announces Prostate Cancer Remission

Jeremy Clarkson, the 66‑year‑old former Top Gear presenter, revealed that his aggressive prostate cancer is now in remission. The diagnosis was made during a routine check‑up in May 2025 and he underwent high‑intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment, which required a temporary catheter and later triggered a serious emergency when he resumed blood‑thinning medication for a prior heart condition.

A recent prostate‑specific antigen (PSA) test showed no trace of the disease, prompting Clarkson to describe himself as “the world’s luckiest man.” In interviews with The Sunday Times and on Instagram, he explained that early detection saved his life and highlighted that about 40 % of prostate‑cancer patients experience a recurrence. He urged other men to get screened, calling the checks a “no‑brainer” and stressing the importance of regular blood tests.

Clarkson also noted lifestyle changes following the ordeal, such as driving more slowly, taking more walks and eating more vegetarian meals. He confirmed that he will continue filming the sixth series of his Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm.
