Jeremy Colliton seeks SHL head coaching roles

Former Chicago Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton is reportedly pursuing head coaching opportunities within the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). After serving as an assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils, Colliton resigned from the organization to seek a role where he can more directly influence team culture.

Colliton has been in negotiations with three different SHL clubs, including Brynäs IF, Luleå HF, and HV71. He noted that his decision to leave the Devils was driven by a desire to build a culture from the ground up and to find a stable long-term project for his family. While he has expressed interest in several Swedish teams, there are currently no vacant head coaching positions available in the league.
