Jeremy Doku to miss Manchester City match against Coventry City

Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku remains sidelined due to a calf injury sustained during the Community Shield. The Belgian player has missed the start of the Premier League season and is expected to miss the upcoming match against Coventry City, as well as Manchester City’s Champions League fixture against FC Porto.

Manager Enzo Maresca has characterized the injury as a two-to-three-week issue. Current projections suggest Doku could return for the Manchester derby against Manchester United on September 13. In other squad news, Matheus Nunes is expected to be available following recovery from a knock.
