Jeremy Sochan prepares for new role with Portland Trail Blazers

Jeremy Sochan is preparing for his first season with the Portland Trail Blazers following his time with the New York Knicks. Portland Trail Blazers General Manager Joe Cronin indicated that Sochan, primarily a forward, may compete for minutes in the center rotation during training camp.

Cronin noted that while Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams III are the primary centers, players including Sochan, Yanga Hansen, Branden Carlson, and Micah Potter will compete for remaining minutes, particularly in small-ball lineups.

Sochan has expressed enthusiasm for his new environment, noting that the greenery and nature in Portland remind him of Poland. He stated his goal is to contribute energy and defense to help the team achieve victories.
