Jeremy Sochan selected first overall in G League draft
Polish basketball player Jeremy Sochan has been selected with the first overall pick in the NBA G League draft by the Texas Legends, an affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. This move follows his recent release from the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sochan, 23, aims to use the G League as a platform to maintain competitive rhythm and secure a return to the NBA. While the selection by the Texas Legends provides a direct link to the Dallas Mavericks coaching staff, any NBA team can sign him if he performs well. The player must still finalize a contract with the league to officially join the roster.
