Jeremy Sochan signs with Portland Trail Blazers

Polish forward Jeremy Sochan, the 2025‑26 NBA champion with the New York Knicks, has agreed to a one‑year, non‑guaranteed contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. The deal, confirmed by his agent Deirunas Visockas and reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania, gives Sochan a chance to compete for a roster spot during the Blazers’ training camp. Sochan entered his fifth NBA season with career averages of 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists, but saw limited minutes in his last year, averaging 2.8 points in 16 games for the Knicks. The contract does not guarantee a roster spot, and Portland can release him before the season without cost. Sochan hopes the Blazers’ rebuilding roster will provide the playing time needed to re‑establish his value in the league.
