Jerez announces Three Wise Men for 2027 parade

The Mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, has announced the individuals chosen to portray the Three Wise Men for the 2027 Epiphany parade. Following a unanimous decision with the local Three Wise Men Association, the designated representatives are María del Carmen Tejero, Joaquín Vallejo, and Alfredo Carrasco.

María del Carmen Tejero is a primary school teacher and the first woman to serve as the Hermana Mayor of the Hermandad del Nazareno. Joaquín Vallejo is a businessman and director of Cash Sherry, also serving as the Hermano Mayor of the Hermandad del Rocío. Alfredo Carrasco is a prominent figure in the local hospitality sector and founder of the Asociación Hostelería de Jerez.

Additionally, Ángel Sáez, president of the Agrupación Parroquial Divina Pastora de San Dionisio, has been named the Royal Postman (Cartero Real) for the festivities.
