Cultural events and literary presentations scheduled across Spain and Chile

Various cultural and literary events are scheduled across Spain and Chile. In Spain, several book presentations and debates are taking place, including Luis García Montero presenting ‘La mejor edad’ in Alcalá de Henares, a debate on Lana Corujo’s ‘Han cantado bingo’ in Soria, and a discussion on Jerez’s literary identity at the Jerez Book Fair. Other notable activities include a colloquium on art and territory with Rosina Gómez-Baeza in Castelló, a presentation of Rubén Siñeriz’s poetry in Teverga, and Antonio Somoza’s ‘Crónicas de la barbarie’ in Vigo.

Theatrical and dance performances are also highlighted. In Valdepeñas, the monologue ‘Te lo dedico’ will address gender inequality. In València, the project ‘El Escalante’ presents ‘Memorias de trapo,’ a mix of dance and object theater. In Chile, the contemporary dance piece ‘Las madres,’ led by Murielle Rojas Olguín, will have a free preview in La Calera, exploring the intersection of motherhood and professional dance.
