Jerez de la Frontera: Man found dead in garbage container

The body of a 29-year-old man was discovered inside a garbage container in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, on Friday morning. Municipal waste collection workers alerted authorities around 8:30 a.m. after finding the body in a container located on Calle de Sevilla, near a bus stop.

Preliminary investigations by the National Police suggest that foul play is unlikely. Official sources stated that the deceased “accessed the interior of the container voluntarily and by his own means.” Reports indicate the man may have been searching for food or other items and became trapped. Security footage is being reviewed to confirm the circumstances of the incident.
