Jerez Flamenco Museum project resumes with new construction license

The construction of the Flamenco Museum of Andalusia (and Andalusian Center for Flamenco Documentation) in Jerez is set to resume following a period of uncertainty. After the original contract with the company Díaz Cubero was rescinded due to economic issues, leaving the project 80% complete, the local City Council has granted a new construction license.

The new phase of the project has a budget of nearly 5.3 million euros. It includes technical modifications to the original design, such as the redistribution of certain areas, the creation of new service facilities, facade work, and the reorganization of access points. The works will also encompass urban development in the surrounding public spaces and streets, including Doctor Lillo, Rompechapines, and Plaza Peones.
